Kaolin is a sedimentary rock primarily composed of kaolinite, an alumino-silicate mineral belonging to the clay family.<\/p>

It forms through weathering processes caused by water on existing rocks. Once extracted and processed, it appears as a soft, earthy, and powdery substance.
